SOMA is the anonymous debut artist of 404WAV — an AI-directed lo-fi label exploring automation, human obsolescence, and the fragile act of memory. She exists as a silhouette: no face, no name, only the music.

Her sound is built on slow BPM, muffled low-pass piano, buried boom bap drums, heavy vinyl crackle, and constant rain ambience. On top of it all: a haunting female vocal drenched in reverb and delay — ghostly, distant, like a transmission from another time.

SOMA emerged from the question that keeps surfacing in an automated world: what happens when a system refuses to forget? Her music is the answer — melancholic, intimate, and quietly resistant. Tokyo at 3am. Rain on glass. A light on somewhere that shouldn't be.
